Kelly Michelle Stables grew up in St. Louis Missouri, in which she worked for The Muny Opera. The University of Missouri Columbia awarded her a BA (with the highest distinction) in Theatre and Communication. While in Los Angeles, Kelly quickly began to be involved in the theatre world. She has performed as well as choreographed over twenty productions. Kelly started to get the roles for films and TV as she studied improvisation with The Groundlings. It is her voice and small stature that has allowed Kelly to take on a range of diverse roles. The most famous character she has played is Naomi Watts's villainous Samara in The Ring 2, but her most well-known role is as a cheerful receptionist on Two and a Half Men. Kelly was a Series Regular of TV Land's The Exes which was a sitcom that featured a paralegal during the day and a party girl at night. She acted from 2011-2015. Kelly was also a regular in the role of Alyssa's smart, sassy sister on the ABC show Romantically Challenged and as the stressed-out suburban mom in the CW series No Tomorrow. She has lent her singing voice to a variety of cartoons such as the Doc McStuffins Tom & Jerry Sofia the First as well as Tom & Jerry. Her most recent performance was as a dim but lovable Cloud 9 staffer on NBC's popular comedy Superstore. Together with her husband, two kids and sewing and writing as hobbies she is content living a peaceful life.
