Kelly Michelle Stables was raised in St. Louis, Missouri. She acted with The Muny Opera. The University of Missouri Columbia awarded her a BA (with distinction) in Theatre and Communication. Following her move from Missouri to Los Angeles, she became active in the theater arts as she began performing in and choreographing for more than two dozen musicals and productions, including The Little Foxes Brady Bunch at Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera as well as 7 titles performances in the prize-winning Storybook Theatre. In addition to continuing her studies in Improvisation in The Groundlings and becoming a part of the company at Theatre West Kelly also started getting roles for television as well as in films. Her distinctive voice and small size has enabled her to perform a range of characters. Her most well-known role is her work with Naomi Watts taking over the role as the evil Samara in The Ring 2 but is most well-known for her role as the bright and bubbly receptionist in Two and a Half Men. Kelly was the regular in the series of TV Land's The Exes the show that starred a paralegal during the day and a party-goer at night. From 2011 until 2015 she acted. Kelly also appeared as Alyssa's sassy, sexpert sister in the ABC show Romantically Challenged and as the stressed-out suburban mom in the CW show No Tomorrow.
